Actor and DMK MP Riteesh Kumar was arrested on Wednesday following land grab charges against him. Riteesh is an MP from the Ramanathapuram constituency and has acted in a couple of Tamil movies before obtaining a DMK seat to contest from Ramanathapuram.
The case against Riteesh is that he has obtained land illegally to the extent of about 2 acres in Sriperumbudhur, near Chennai using forged documents. Riteesh was last seen in the film Nayagan.
