Popular Tamil actor Santhanam's father C Neelamegan passed away while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Chennai on Friday, June 10. He was 69.
PR Nikkil Murugan took to Twitter handle on Friday afternoon to reveal the news about the death of Santhanam's father. On his social media account, he posted, "Actor Santhanam father Neelamegam passed away few mins ago.
My father was suffering from age-related illness. He was admitted to the Global hospital in Chennai a month ago. He breathed his last at around 4 pm today."
The last rites will be performed at Santhanam's hometown, Polichalur, in Kancheepuram district.
