The department of Media Studies, Hindustan Collage of Arts and Science is organizing a two day film festival titled 'Impact 2k8 ' Dr. KCG Memorial Film Festival'. The festival is held on 28th and 29th of February in Chennai at Film Chambers Theatre.
The festival is the result of a national level contests for the students of Media Studies / Visual Communication to exhibit their talents through advertisement films, short films, and documentary films. Around 150 collages across India have been invited for the contest and the festival.
The festival was inaugurated by Radhika Sarath Kumar today (February 28) morning in Film Chambers Theatre. The submitted films will be short listed by an expert panel of jury members from the different fields of the film industry. The two day festival will showcase the selected films.
