Young hero Akkineni Akhil has changed several directors for his second film. He recently called on director Maruthi a day after release of Babu Bangaram to narrate him a story.
Maruthi already had a story prepared for the young hero had briefed it to him. Akhil liked the plot, so asked the director to come up with full script.
Interestingly, when director Vikram Kumar who made most memorable film Manam for the Akkineni family gave Akhil the nod to direct him, the Sisindri star ditched Maruthi by announcing project with the Ishq director.
Apparently, disappointing result of Babu Bangaram is reason for Akhil losing interest on Maruthi. Moreover, Akhil has great respect for Vikram for giving him space to essay a remarkable cameo in Manam.
It may take time for Vikram Kumar to prepare full script and his marriage with Srinidhi to take place on September 4th in Chennai is other reason for delay in launching the project.
On the other hand, Maruthi has other script ready for a young hero. He may announce the project soon.
