Produced by Kool Productions, the movie is directed by V Ravi, a former associate of director Lingusamy. He has written the story, screenplay and dialogues too for the film.
Says Sakthi: 'After 'Thottal Poo Malarum', I wanted my next to be different from it. I listened to several scripts. When Ravi narrated the story of 'Magesh, Saranya and Mattrum Palar', I thought it had substance in it. I decided not to miss the project'.
