Anand L Rai directed Hindi film Raanjhnaa is being dubbed as Ambikapathy in Tamil and the film is slated for a release on 28th June while the Hindi version is all set to hit the screens on June 21.
Meanwhile, Dhanush’s other film Mariyaan that has wrapped up its censor formalities bagging U/A is also slated for June 28 release. Mariyaan was supposed to hit the screens in May but was delayed and is set for release on same day on 28th of the month.
Dhanush and Sonam Kapoor have been quite busy with the promotional activities of Raanjhnaa. The distributor of Tamil version Abirami Ramanathan has organized a press meet of the film on June 18 and the lead actors along with Anand L Rai have partaken in the event. The unit members are quite confident on the film’s success and Dhanush informed that he is happy with the final output.
