Director Ameer and actor Suriya are reuniting for a new project titled Kannabiran, following the success of their previous collaboration.
The latest buzz doing rounds in Kollywood is that Suriya has accepted to do a movie for director Ameer early next year. The two had come together earlier for Mounam Pesiyadhae. The movie did manage to collect good revenue and received appreciation from film-buffs.
Ameer's Team work Productions, currently producing Paruthi Veeran starring Suriya's sibling Karthi in the lead role, is expected to produce the same. The movie has been tentatively titled Kannabiran.
Paruthi Veeran will be released in December. Priyamani stars opposite Karthik. Yuvan Shankar Raja scores music for this movie. Ameer handles story, screenplay, dialogues and direction.
Ameer has reportedly shelved all plans to commence a film featuring him in the lead role. In stead he plans to begin his next featuring Suriya.
After Sillunu Oru Kadhal, Suriya would be doing a movie for Gowtham Menon.
