Arijit Singh's song won't be a part of Salman Khan's 'Sultan'. It is reportedly confirmed that Arijit's song won't feature in Sultan and apparently Salman asked the makers of 'Sultan' to drop the song sung by the singer, as Arijit is not in Salman's good books.
Arijit even posted about it on Facebook and pleaded the superstar to retain the song in the movie, but his all his attempts have failed.
Composer Amit Trivedi supported Arijit on the issue and was quoted as saying in a report, "I don't know why that happened. I don't know why Salman would do that. I have no idea. He is known to be a generous guy. I don't think he will remember or keep grudges in his mind for something that happened two years ago." He also added that music composers rarely have a say in matters relating to retaining any song in the movie. "These things keep happening. Keeping a singers voice is not the music director's ultimate call. There are many people involved whose money rides on the film. It's their call ultimately," he was quoted as saying in the report.
