Writer Vijayendra Prasad became a nationally famous creator in 2015, thanks to the humongous success of 'Baahubali-The Beginning', and the critically-acclaimed story he wrote for Salman Khan's 'Bajrangi Bhaijan'.As has been rumoured in certain quarters, the writer is going to adapt the magnum opus for television. The monstrously popular characters - namely, Baahubali, Katappa, Bhallaladeva, in the main - will now be lengthened, and the plot itself re-written without changing the essence.The writer has been quoted as saying that this will be a TV series running into a few seasons.The world of 'Baahubali' has been branching out into animation and more.
