Arjun's Hanuman temple

The Tamil films action hero Arjun who hails from Karnataka has a dream project of his 27 years career in film profession 'Hanuman Temple'. This is coming up soon at his Peru estate situated in Chennai. This is the only achievement in my life says the proud actor. The final touches for this 28 feet single piece Hanuman statue in sitting posture is given by sculptor Ashok Gudiger at Kairo village in Doddaballapur Taluk situated on the outskirts of Bangalore.

I have set one acre of land in Peru for this idol. The single stone for this 28 feet height 12 feet breadth and 7 feet thickness Hanuman statue was discovered under the soil in Doddaballapur Taluk says Arjun who is eager to bring the statue of Hanuman to Chennai.

The Hanuman statue the first of its kind in India (because it is the sitting posture of Hanuman) has cost Rs.75 lakhs for the actor, director and producer Arjun. Arjun contacted various persons for making this idol and finally handed over the charge to Mr Ashok Gudiger.

'I am not doing this divine work for any benefits'. I am not interested in earning out of this Hanuman statue that will be installed in Chennai. I am a devotee of Hanuman says Arjun answering a question at Windsor Manor hotel in Bangalore at the get together party of his nephew Chiranjeevi Sarja launch in Kannada film 'Vaayu Putra'.
