Actress Asin suffered a toe injury during a song shoot for Pokiri and has been advised to take a week off from dancing.
Asin was rushed to a private hospital in Chennai on Wednesday after she sustained injuries in her toe while shooting for Pokiri.
The actor was shaking her legs with Vijay for a song sequence that was shot by Prabhu Deva at AVM Studios.
Suddenly a huge nail, which was dismantled and left in the shooting spot, pierced her toe. A bleeding Asin raised alarm. The actor was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital and was advised a couple of days rest.
According to her father Joseph, Asin would be normal in a day or two and she would commence dubbing works for Pokiri. However, she can return to the dance floor only after a week.
Asin, who is flooded with round the clock assignments, will certainly do well to enjoy this enforced rest.
