Balakrishna's new film, Hara Hara Mahadev, directed by B. Gopal, was launched on his birthday with a grand event in Hyderabad, attended by film dignitaries.

At a function held at Hitex in Hyderabad, producer Bellamkonda launched the movie lavishly. Legendary Akkineni Nageshwara Rao sounded the clapboard for the muhurat shot on Balakrishna.
Nandamuri Harikrishna and D K Aruna, Minister for Cinematography, did the honours of switching on the camera and performing pooja respectively.
Writers Parachuri Brothers and director B.Gopal have teamed up with Balakrishna after long time. In the past, they delivered several hits together. S S Taman is composing the music while Shyam K Naidu is handling the camera. For both these technicians, working with Balakrishna is a first time experience.
