At a time, when the entire film sector is running on a tempo of action, faction and heavy violence films, besides heavy exposing by heroines, director Bhaskar proved that there is no need for all such gimmicks for making a film a commercial hit.
He took a good family subject coupled with sentiment and delicate love story and made 'Bommarillu' which is a good family entertainer.
Bhaskar's film won critical acclaim as the dialogues and performance of artistes are quite heart touching. The film was a big hit commercially.
Dil Raju, who produced the film had announced that he would do another film with the same director. With the promise given by the producer, Bhaskar again prepared yet another good story and narrated it to several young heroes.
But no one failed to finalise the subject. It is almost seven months, since his film 'Bommarillu' hit the screen, but the director failed to start his next venture.
The entire film industry is eagerly looking at his next film but he is waiting for a good time to come.
