Vijay's latest film, Theri, has grossed an impressive ₹35 crore in Tamil Nadu within its first four days, overcoming initial hurdles and reviewer criticisms. The movie is also performing strongly in overseas markets.
Ilayathalapathi Vijay's Theri, directed by Atlee Kumar, is doing good business despite the criticisms from the reviewers. The film has not released in few number of theaters due to the disputes in revenue sharing.Despite all the hurdles, in first four days the thriller film has collected around 35 crore rupees in Tamilnadu alone.Meanwhile, Theri is also performing well in the overseas markets and in US it will soon be entering the prestigous one million dollar club.
