The Balakrishna-starrer 'Pandurangadu' is all set for release during this month. The film had many expectations among the audiences in general as Balayya is playing dual roles as Lord Krishna and Pundareekudu.
Moreover, the film is coming through a successful director like K Raghavendra Rao, who had brought out two successful historical and mythological films like 'Annamayya' and 'Sriramadasu'.
The film's audio is already creating ripples and it recently celebrated the double platinum disc function.
Efforts are being made to release the film in 1,000 screens across the country on May 28. In this backdrop, there were several doubts among the minds of audiences as to who would direct Balakrishna's next flick.
As per reliable information, Balakrishna's forthcoming film would be a very big mass entertainer which will have many a commercial element. It is further learnt that Boyapati Srinu, who had brought out successful films like 'Bhadra' and 'Tulasi', bagged the opportunity to direct Balakrishna.
Keeping Balayya's image in view, he reportedly prepared an out and out mass subject and the script was also kept ready. After going through the script, Balakrishna reportedly gave his nod for the movie.
A photo session was also held for the film and the details of the project came to light as Balakrishna attended the 'Pandurangadu' function with the same make-up and costumes.
If everything goes well, the film would be produced by Gemini Film Circuits. More details are awaited.
