The Rajnikanth-starrer, Chandramukhi was directed by P Vasu and produced by Sivaji Productions.
Released a couple of years ago, the movie has witnessed a fantastic running and has completed an 800-day run at Shanthi theatre in Chennai.
To celebrate the success, producer Ram Kumar has organized a mega function in Chennai on 25 June in which Chief Minister Karunanidhi is expected to take part.
Ram Kumar along with actor Prabhu and P Vasu called on Chief Minister in Chennai on Sunday and invited him for the mega event.
Chandramukhi starring Nayantara, Jyothika, Prabhu and Vadivelu in prominent roles was inspired by P Vasu's Kannada film Aapthamithra.
