Actor Sathyaraj, directors Kasthooriraja, S A Chandrasekhar, music composer Deva among others gathered for the audio release of Cheena Thana 001 in Chennai on Saturday.
Starring Prasanna and Sheela in the lead roles, the movie is directed by T P Gajendran and produced by Mid Valley Entertainment.
Speaking on the occasion, Sathyaraj said, 'Prasanna has got immense potential and success is not very far for the actor'.
He expressed confidence that Cheena Thana would take Prasanna to greater heights.
Sathyaraj and Deva were felicitated on the occasion for being conferred honorary doctorate by Sathybhama Deemed University.
Prasanna, Sheela, Vikranth among others spoke on the occasion.
