Chinmai makes debut

The Zee TV Kannada channel 'Saregamapa' top one singer Chinmai Athreyas A has made debut in to film playback singing. He started his career of playback singing from Telugu film 'Andamaina Manasulu' produced by Kannada film producer S.V.Babu that has music by R.P.Patnayak. The song Chinmai sung in Telugu was Anu Yuddam no no Vidwamsam no no'..by writing the lyrics of the songs in Kannada.

Before this maiden Telugu song he had sung for the track for Kannada film 'E Bandhana' ' Let's dance'.song (that was later sung by Rajesh) scored by Mano Murthy.

Back home this multifaceted youngster Chinmai got an opportunity to sing in K.Kalyan's 'Chickamagalura Chickmallige' Kannada film. O Vasundhara'.is one of the songs sung by Chinmai recently.

An engineering graduate in the division of Information and Technology Chinmai is an ardent cricket fan. He is good in studies and the only son to his parents. His mettle in cricket was approved by his Presidency School management and given him scholarship from 6th to 10th standard. The singing interest for Chinmai blossomed when he was at II PUC.

From then on he took training in the camp of Smt.Manjula Gururaj's 'Sadhana Music School' and entered in to many competitions. He won various awards and trophies before winning the Santro Car and one year contract to sing for Ashwini Audio house in the finals of 'Zee TV Saregamapa' contest. He has so far given 250 programs and traveled Dubai, Kuwait with ace music director Gurukiran.

Chinmai born to B-High grade singer in Akashavani, Bangalore Mr Amaranath and Sheela Amaranath wants to sail in the playback singing and continue his higher education in business management or event management.

For Chinmai the ace singer Dr.SPB is like God. He is also fond of singers like S.Janaki, Sonu Nigam, Rajesh and Shreya Goshal.
