Chiranjeevi Sarja is fulfilling his grandfather Shakti Prasad's shoes. He is playing Bheema in a few scenes in his new film Chandraleka. The film directed by Omprakash Rao is in its second schedule in Bangalore after completing the first schedule in Hyderabad recently. In a few scenes of the film, there is a mythological episode of the Mahabharata and Chiru is essaying the role of the Pandava warrior prince Bheema.
Giving him company in these scenes is Nagashekar, Sadhu Kokila and Shanvi Shrivatsava. Sources in the film said that it is the 'Draupadi Vastrapaharana' scene from Mahabharata. Shakti Prasad was known for his theatre skills and had acted in many stage playes in his heydays. He got into films through his theatre popularity.
