The cast and crew of the film Vellitherai faced a terrifying ordeal when a tsunami warning forced them to evacuate their Bali filming location.
Prakash Raj's production venture Vellitherai was being shot in Bali Islands, Indonesia. The crew had to immediately pack up and return to their hotels following weathermen issued warning of earth quake followed by tsunami. The whole unit immediately returned to their rooms.
As it happened strong earth quake struck Indonesia as a result of which tsunami warning was issued. The whole crews were shocked over the developments.
Vellitherai is a remake of Malayalam hit Udhayannu Tharam. The movie stars Prakashraj, Prithviraj and Gopika. It is directed by Viji.
