Chief Minister M Karunanidhi watched a special screening of Vishal starrer Malaikottai in Chennai on Tuesday. The movie, directed by Boopathy Pandian, is releasing all across the state on Thursday.
After the screening, Karunanidhi offered appreciation on both Vishal and Boopathy Pandian for coming out with an engrossing film.
The movie, produced by T Rama Rao and Ajay, features Priya Mani opposite Vishal. Mani Sharma has scored the music.
The advance booking for the movie opened a couple of days ago. Expectations are high on the movie as Vishal, hitherto known for playing action-packed films, has tried his hands at comedy too in Malaikottai.
