'Dhruva' Takes 'Musical' Risk?

Ram Charan, who will be next seen in 'Dhruva', looks to have taken a big risk as far as the expectations of fans are concerned. We have already reported that the film's audio will be directly released into market on 9th November. Aditya music, which has grabbed the music rights of Dhruva, has a while ago unveiled the film's track list and it has come as a big surprise. All films of star heroes are expected to have six songs and makers rarely dare to violate this as audiences have already got accustomed to this pattern and any deviation may prove risky. However, Dhruva looks to be an exception as its album contains only four songs. Lovers of commercial entertainers may get disappointed with this deviation especially when Charan's films are noted for songs and fights. On the other hand, another section of movie lovers have welcomed the decision of makers to sacrifice two songs to give more importance to the story. Dhruva is a racy thriller, remake of Tamil hit film 'Thani Oruvan', and it has very less scope for placing songs. Any unnecessary song may deter the movie's pace and hamper the overall effect that thrillers are supposed to provide. The mere thought of how masses respond to this audacious decision of Dhruva makers is giving tense moments to the mega fans. Dhruva will hit screens on 2nd December.
