Rumors were abuzz that actor Jeevan had a rift with director Selvan in the sets of 'Krishnaleelai', produced by K Balachander's Kavithalaya.
However the director was quick to deny the reports as mere rumors. "When I penned the script, I decided Jeevan should play the lead role and when I approached him", he immediately obliged.
"A man of noble qualities and kind nature, Jeevan has always been co-operative. He delivered what I asked him to on the sets", he said.
'Krishnaleelai' is no remake of K. Balachander's film, he said adding that the shooting is on at a rapid pace and the movie would be released soon, he added.
