Director Vishnu Vardhan's father Shekar is gearing up to try his hand at producing films.
Having assisted his son in Arindhum Ariyamalum and Pattiyal, Shekar is now evincing interest in producing films.
Buzz is that he has approached cinematographer-director Thangar Bachchan to do a movie for his production firm.
Thangar Bachchan is busy giving final touches to his Pallikoodam, which is going to be screened at the Cannes Film Festival. Meanwhile, Thangar has agreed to work in the movie. The film is inspired by a Russian novel. The star cast is not finalized.
Shekar is also planning to produce another film. He has approached a popular cinematographer to direct the film.
