The veteran war horse Bharathiraja with several hits spanning over three decades has hopped to Bollywood to recreate his magic. 'Bommalattam' is directed by the legend director. His fresh project stars Arjun and Nana Patekar in the lead roles of the protagonists. Actress introduced by Bharathiraja shines in filmdom. Now, he is introducing another promising girl Kajal Agarwal through Bommalattam.

This will mark actor Arjun's Bollywood debut while Nana Patekar will make his Tamil debut. Bharathiraja and Nana Patekar have worked together tirelessly for over a year to complete the movie. Originally, the film has been scripted for Hindi viewers in the name of 'Bharathiraja's 'Cinema' with Nana Patekar in the lead. Few months later, the director will make the film in Tamil too with the action king Arjun. And the film is also to be released in Telugu as 'Kalidas'.

'Cinema', which throws light on the real life of the reel artistes, should set a new trend in the industry', opines Bharathiraja. 'All my artistes have contributed their best. But for their unstinted support, the movie could not have bee completed', he says.

In the flick, Nana plays a film director who runs into problems both in his reel and real life. He seems to have done a good job of it considering the praise Bharathiraja has lavished on the veteran actor. Known to bridge a gap between rural-urban themes in his movies, Bharathiraja has got the best out of the artistes in the movies. Ace Bollywood music-composer Himesh Reshammiya has scored music for the movie. He has come up with five peppy numbers which are sure to floor the music-lovers and can make one to shake their legs in dance floors.
