Few Telugu entries for the Childrens Festival

Telugu filmmakers are not really known for experimentation. But in the last few years many new filmmakers are making conscious efforts to introduce a new kind of cinema to the Telugu audience who have been traveling a lot.

Since Hyderabad is the venue for the International Children's Film Festival, it comes as a surprise that we have just about two entries this year.

It will be inaugurated by the Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhar Reddy today at the Lalita Kala Toranam.

There is a film by a Telugu filmmaker -- I Am Famous -- by Dr Hanumantha Rao Raghavapudi on Saturday and there is another one, Amulyam, by Akkineni Kutumba Rao to be screened on Monday.
