It's been almost 18 months since Victory Venkatesh's film Hit the Theaters; The other day, he came in front of the audience with 'Babu Bangaram'. The film opened up to the mediocre response from critics and General public due to less awestruck moments in the movie.
But the film manages to open with splendid collections at USA Box Office; it minted $177k from the Premiers which was Highest among Venky's film as a Solo Hero. While 'Gopala Gopala' done alongside with Pawan Kalyan raked $280k from USA Premiers is Highest amount for Venky if we consider Multi-starrer film.
Surprisingly, for Maruthi also, this was the Highest USA Premiers collected amount for his films until now. Earlier, his film with Nani 'Bhale Bhale Magadivoy' collected $70k from USA Premiers. Thus, 'Babu Bangaram' kickstarted with Good openings from USA Premieres.
As per Trade experts, the film was also reported to witness Good opening day collections in Ap/Nizam, where, as per early estimate 'Babu Bangaram' can collect Anywhere between 5 to 7 crores on the 1st day of its release. Finally, an Extended weekend is an Advantage for 'Babu Bangaram' and at the same time, it needs to face stiff competition from Sai Dharam Tej's 'Thikka' if it manages to receive positive talk.
