Well known anchor Gowrish Akki, who has quit his job as an anchor in Suvarna News 24/7, is turning a busy actor these days. The actor is playing the role of Upendra’s brother who is a scientist by profession in Uppi’s forthcoming film ‘Basavanna’ being directed by Srinivasaraju. Currently, Gowrish is busy acting for the film in Karaikudi in Tamil Nadu.
Gowrish Akki who is a reputed anchor has been acting in films for quite some time. But most of the times, Gowrish is seen as a TV anchor. Sources say, this is the first time that Gowrish is acting in a full fledged role.
