There is nothing new in having real life happenings and controversial issues in the Tamil cinemas. Encashing the latest ‘Nithyananda scandal’ issue, ‘Guru Sishyan’, a movie being directed by Shakthi Chidambaram with Sundar C and Sathyaraj in lead roles is showing a few incidents related to this issue.
Sources say that a few new scenes on the issue were added to the film which would bring fun to the viewer’s and the movie is expected to release soon. However, Shakthi Chidambaram denies by saying “It is true that ‘Guru Sishyan’ has scenes on fake godmen. But they were not inspired by the Nithyananda clippings. We had planned it much earlier.”
