Director Cheran celebrates his National Award wins as his film Thavamai Thavamirundhu is added to an Australian university's curriculum.
Actor ' director Cheran is in great joy after scalping two National awards ' for Aadum Koothu and Thavamai Thavamirundhu.
What more, Cheran's Thavamai Thavamirundhu has been inducted as part of the syllabus in a media university in Australia, Says Cheran, 'The varsity sought my permission to add the film as part of their curriculum. I was overjoyed then'.
According to the varsity officials, 'The movie dealt on a different theme and portrayed Tamil culture in a different dimension. It is a lesson for every human being', he said.
Thavamai Thavamirundhu featured Cheran, Padmapriya, Raj Kiran and Saranya in key roles. The movie glorified the sacrifices of father in every family.
