The veterans of Tamil cinema gathered under one roof to felicitate the inimitable comedian, hero and character actor, Nagesh at Chennai recently.
Veteran music composer M S Viswanathan, actor par excellence Kamal Haasan, Cho, lyricist Vaali, playback singer P B Sreenivas, directors Chitralaya Gopu, K Balachander, Mrs YGP, C V Rajendran and Vasanth, all ardent fans of the actor recalled their experiences with Nagesh.
Kamal Haasan expressed his admiration for the actor, while the likes of Vaali and K Balachander shared their experiences working with Nagesh in his prime.
'This will be an unforgettable day in my life,' concluded a moved Nagesh.
A music concert featuring songs from Nagesh films was also performed on the occasion.
