How Nag Accepted This Role

Nagarjuna Akkineni's career has taken a major turn with Manam. Since then, he's wisely choosing his films. Be it Oopiri or Soggade Chinni Nayana, Nag had attempted something different. Even in his next Om Namo Venkatesaya, he will be seen in devotional avatar as Hathiram Baba. If this isn't enough, Nag surprised one and all by signing his first horror comedy Raju Gari Gadhi 2. The film was officially launched on Sunday.Speaking on the occasion, Nag said, "I was looking to do new roles after Om Namo Venkatesaya.

I had told many that I'm not ready to do regular films. Since I don't know how long I will do films as lead, I am very keen on my roles. At that time, PVP has told me about Ohmkar's story. I agreed to do if the story is good. After hearing to Ohmkar's narration, I felt this is another different role I hadn't done earlier.

Also I had great affinity towards horror films since my childhood. Hence I readily agreed to do it. Finally, my dream to do horror film has come true."Without disclosing much, Nag said that his character in Raju Gari Gadhi 2 will be special. "I play a role who plays with the minds of the people. That's all I can reveal now." However, Nagarjuna quickly clarified that he will not be doing a magician or psychiatrist in the film and kept it under the wraps as of now. The film directed by Ohmkar will go onto rolls from the first week of December. The film is jointly produced by PVP, Matinee and OAK Entertainments.
