Superstar Rajnikanth clarifies he will only accept roles with fantastic scripts and currently has no plans to direct.
While showering compliments on Ram Charan after watching 'Chirutha', Rajnikanth had answered to a volley of questions from the film journalists.
Replying to a question he says, 'My recent film 'Sivaji' which was released recently was a blockbuster. I will play in a film only when I get one such fantastic subject. Otherwise, I don't go for acting because there are high expectations on my forthcoming film and if I can't reach those expectations, I will make my fans and audiences disappointed. I don't want that situation. At the same time, I have no mood to take up direction as well. As of now, there are no such plans, but I can't say whether I may wield the megaphone in future or not.'
However, there were rumours in the Kollywood that chances were high that Rajnikanth is going to play in a film to be directed by Maniratnam.
