Continuous interviews and press briefings on Friday last when his official website was launched seems to have taken a toll on the health of veteran music director Ilaiyaraja and he has been admitted to a private hospital on the same day as the senior composer complained of uneasiness.
Fortunately, there is nothing to worry, as the doctors at the hospital have ruled out any serious ailments such as heart problem or gastric trouble. Sources close to the maestro say that they will be conducting tests on Monday to ascertain what has gone wrong with his health. They also hope that the septuagenarian composer will be discharged after the tests. However the doctors have advised complete rest for Ilaiyaraja for the next few days.
