Music director D Imman is set to remix a classic Ilayaraja song for the upcoming film Dakshina, starring Srikanth.
Music director D Imman continues to be obsessed with remixing yesteryear melodies. He carved a niche for himself coming out with the remix of several songs including 'Ennadi Muniamma', 'Atho Antha Paravai Polae' among others.
The young music-composer, who got married recently, is currently scoring music for a movie titled 'Dakshina' starring Srikanth.
Buzz is that Imman would be remixing a popular yesteryear Ilayaraja song for the movie. Veteran director Balu Mahendra's blockbuster 'Neengal Kettavai' had a song 'Adiyae 'Manam Nilluna Nikathadi'..' featuring Thyagarajan and Silk Smitha. The song went on to become an anthem among youngsters then. Now Imman is remixing the song for 'Dakshina'.
Sources close to Imman says, "It is a challenging song and Imman would score peppy musical scores to make it a big hit".
