Tamil film fraternity joined hands to protest against the derogatory remarks by writer Jayamohan on the two legendary figures of Tamil cinema ' MGR and Sivaji.
The distinguished writer, who has recently entered film world by penning dialogues and script for the movies like 'Kasthoori Maan' and 'Angaadi Theru', has written a piece on the legendary actors in his blog. The write up that carries offensive remarks on the two was brought to broader notice by a leading Tamil weekly, which reproduced the piece recently.
The Tamil film fraternity naturally got anger and decided to protest against such uncalled for remarks. A horde of admirers of the two actors protested against the writer by staging a fasting struggle today (March 1) in Chennai.
Vijayakumar, Radha Ravi and Mayil Sami among other attended the fasting struggle.
