Venkatesh and Nayanthara starrer Babu Bangaram (Selvi in Tamil) has made a whooping collection of 25 crore rupees in the first four days. This is indeed the biggest ever in Venkatesh's career.
But the trade circles say that the collection has dropped hugely in the second week and the film may incur losses to the makers.Directed by Maruthi Dasari, Babu Bangaram hit the screens on August 12.
The Tamil version of the movie Selvi (named after Nayanthara's character) has only got dampened response in Tamilnadu.It is to note that Venkatesh has promoted the film to his best, but heroine Nayanthara didn't even showed up for any promotional activities.
