Actress Gopika, known for her role in 'Autograph', is preparing for marriage by the end of 2008, as confirmed by her parents. She plans to retire from acting after her wedding.
Gopika, who made every one sit up and watch with her performance in Cheran's 'Autograph', is all set to enter into married life.
The girl from Kerala moved to Chennai after the release of 'Autograph' to concentrate on Tamil films. She is also busy in Malayalam films.
Recently she made her presence felt in 'Vellithirai', produced by Duet Films andMoser Baer. Since her parents have advised her to settle in married life, this could be her last film in Tamil, as she has no plans to pursue her career after the marriage. She is now acting in three Malayalam films.
When our correspondent enquired Gopika's parent about the actress's marriage, they replied, "Yes, it is true. We are looking for a groom to our daughter Gopika. But some of the magazines carried stories about her engagement last week that were totally false."
"Any how, her marriage will be held by the end of 2008", they added.
Gopika's parents are already on a lookout for suitable boys and hence the weddings bells could ring at any time for the girl.
