Jyothika is set to star opposite Venkatesh in the upcoming Telugu film "Aadavari Matalaku Ardhaley Veruley," directed by Selvaraghavan, marking her return to Telugu cinema.
Jyothika is one of the top stars of the south. She is certainly on a high in Tamil.
And in Telugu, she is no less impressive. Her last big release here was Shock (Ram Gopal Verma's). Before that it was the commercial entertainer Mass. Now Jyothika will be back again in Telugu.
According to the buzz, Jyothika has been cast as the heroine of a new Venkatesh starrer. She will play the female lead in in Selvaraghavan directed Aadavari Matalaku Ardhaley Veruley (AMAV).
This will be Selva's first straight Telugu film for producers N V Prasad and Sanam Naga Ashok Kumar. The film has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
The movie was formally launched in February but has been delayed because Selva has been busy with his Tamil film Pudhupettai (Dhoolpet in Telugu).
The shoot will start from first week of June in Hyderabad. For Jyothika this is again another big film.
