John Vijay, fresh off his acclaimed role in 'Kabali,' takes on the role of a gang leader in the upcoming film 'Veera Sivaji,' starring Vikram Prabhu and Shamli.
Actor John Vijay got the golden opportunity to share the screen space with Rajinikanth in the recent blockbuster 'Kabali' and that too he played the role of Thalaivar's close friend and trusted ally and he proved to be a fitting replacement for Janakaraj who played such roles with finesse in the yesteryear films of the Superstar.
Winning widespread accolades for his performance in the Pa.Ranjith directorial, John Vijay has now got a promotion of sorts in one of his upcoming film. While in 'Kabali' he played the associate of the lead gangster Kabali, in Vikram Prabhu-Shamli starrer 'Veera Sivaji' he has played a gang leader.
Apart from this, the versatile character cum villain actor has played an emotional character in the Dinesh-Nandita starrer 'Ulkuthu'.
