Kamal Haasan has been appointed to the Shyam Benegal committee, tasked with reforming the Central Board of Film Certification.
Actor Kamal haasan has now been named in the Shyam Benegal committee to watch the functioning of the censor board of Film Certification.This Shyam Benegal committee was set up by the Central government to look into the controversies which arise by the activities of Censor Board.Shyam Benegal committee has started working from January 1 this year, and some popular cinema industry experts like Shaji Karun, Mr. Ghosh, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Piyush Pandey and film journalist Bhawana Somayaa will also be a part of this panel.
