Kamalini Mukherjee, who was supposed to star opposite Cheran in Pirivom Sandhippom, backed out at the last moment. Sneha replaced her.
According to director Karu Pazhaniappan, 'Sneha replaced Kamalini since the latter had problems with her call sheet and could not spare bulk dates'.
However quick to deny the charges of Karu Pazhaniappan is Kamalini.
According to the actress, 'Karu Pazhanippan had narrated a story to me and I was happy about my role and readily agreed to be part of it. However when the shooting commenced it was shot in a way quite different from the way the story was narrated to me. Convinced that I cannot do justice to my role, I backed out'.
Kamalini is busy in Tollywood with several offers. She is involved in a film where the story is written by Bharathi Raja and directed by Sathyanarayan and also in a movie directed by Girish. She will be playing along side Pawan Kalyan in a film.
