Actor Karan, known for villain roles, is now focusing on lead roles, pinning high hopes on his upcoming film "Kokki" where he plays the titular character Kokkisamy.
Karan is pinning lots of hopes on his forthcoming release Kokki.
Known for playing villainous roles, ' I have decided against doing negative roles. I am getting many offers to act as hero in Tamil films. The stories are also good.'
Karan has turned down nearly 40 offers in order to do Kokki.
Asked about the film, Karan says, 'I play the title role of Kokkisamy in Kokki'
Coming from a village, what all he encounters in the city forms the baseline of the film.
'I have been waiting for one such story. After Arasatchi, I have not done any Tamil film. I did a Malayalam film called Isra. After Kokki, I will be a new Karan.'
