Actor Karthik is set to make a comeback in a negative role for a new Mani Ratnam film starring Vikram and Aishwarya Rai.
After lying low for a long time, yesteryear hero Karthik is all set to make a comeback.
Buzz is that the actor has been roped in by director Manirathinam to do a movie for him. The role that Karthik is slated to do is that of a powerful negative character. The actor, who floated his own political party recently, had acted in films like 'Agni Natchathiram' and 'Mouna Ragam', directed by Manirathinam before.
The movie features Vikram and Aishwarya Rai in lead roles.
Karthik has been in hibernation for the last decade.
