Moondru Mugam was even remade in Telugu decades ago by Chiranjeevi as Mugguru Monagallu.Lawrence has even bought the remake rights of Moondru Mugam and is busy planning pre-production for the film. Lawrence is said to have even met Rajini and took his blessings for the movie.Though Lawrence’s decision to remake Moondru Mugam (Mugguru Monagallu) made news, the big question is, will he be able to convince Tamil and Telugu audience, by reprising the roles of great stars like Rajinikanth and Chiranjeevi. Though Lawrence is very talented, will it not backfire, if audience cannot receive Lawrence in the place of Rajinikanth and Chiranjeevi.
