After directors being bitten by the acting bug, it is now the turn of lyricists to try their hand at acting.
Noted lyricist Snehan, who won the State award last year for his song in Autograph, is making his debut as actor.
The young lyricist will be playing the hero in a movie to be directed by Amarnath, a former associate of Bharathiraja. Says Snehan, 'I never aspired to act. It was the director who urged me to don the role. I took it as a challenge and reduced my body weight and today, I am ready and raring to go.'
The movie would go to floors next month.
