Young director Nag Ashwin is set to helm a biopic on the legendary actress Mahanati Savitri, following his success with Yevade Subramaniam.
The trend of making biopics has caught on to telugu film industry from bollywood now. Mahanati Savitri's biopic would be made now and will be helmed by young director Nag Ashwin.
He has earlier delivered a successful movie, Yevade Subramaniam. Savitri has given some memorable performances in movies like Devadasu, Missamma, Penin Perumai, Pasa Malar, Bhale Ramudu, 'Thodi Kodallu, Mayabazaar and Gundamma Katha.
