Mammootty is set to play a challenging double role as both father and son in director Pramod Payyannur's adaptation of BalayakalaSakhy.
The craze for Mammootty to don competing and difficult characters is well known. Adding to this list of his known works will be director Pramod Payyannur's version of 'BalayakalaSakhy'.The take on the famous work from Malayalam literature will feature Mammootty in twin roles. He will appear as the lead character Majeed and also as his father. The lookout for a suitable face to play the role of Suhra is still on, though some unconfirmed reports suggests that the makers have zeroed in on Isha Shervani for the role.The movie will be on sets by the end of this year.
