As the World Cup 2007 comes nearer, number of films are gearing up for a release in the same period. 'Meerabai Not Out' is one of them.
Starring Mandira Bedi, a cricket host and a solid fan, as the central protagonist, the film is all about cricket and revolves around her character.
A quickie that has been completed in record time, the film is produced by Pritish Nandy Communications who are known for their cool small/medium budget films.
The film is directed by Chandrakant Kulkarni and stars Eijaz Khan and Anupam Kher as the other attractions in the film with a special appearance by none other than Anil Kumble.
Sandesh Shandilya, who is currently making waves for his soundtrack of 'Ustad and The Divas' [his 'Leja Leja' is topping the charts], composes the music of the film.
