Many times in the past, news made rounds that Megastar Chiranjeevi will do a movie on freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy.
Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy was a Rayalseema leader who led a revolt against British in the mid nineteen century. He was known for courage and valour.
Though Chiranjeevi expressed desire to do the role of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, the project did not take off. Infact Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy story was even considered for Chiru’s 150th movie. Paruchuri Brothers had even worked on script. But the project was put on backburner.
But once again Uyyalawada movie is in news. Producer Dasari Kiran Kumar who has produced Siddartha movie, expressed his desire to produce Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy movie, if Chiranjeevi okays.
“I’m a very big fan of Megastar Chiranjeevi and producing Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy movie with Megastar is my dream. I’m trying to present the idea to Chiranjeevi soon. If Chiranjeevi okays then it would be one of the highest budget movies in Indian cinema,” said Kiran Kumar.
